I am looking to purchase a hub for a 1987 shoreline trailer without taking the original hub off for the purchase.I want it to have as a spare in case the original hubs go.

You can buy them here on Iboats. All you need is spindle diameter and lug bolt pattern.

i "think" you might be asking what hub you have. No way to know for sure w/o taking it off and measuring it. At least choices I know of. If it is a 3500# axle I can guess it is 1 1/16 by 1 3/8 if you want to buy a hub based on my guess. (I wouldn't).

Look on the back side of the hub for a manufacturer's stamp.
