Hello all. I was doing a little maintenance on this 7.5 hp. Merc that I just bought. In the process of replacing the water impeller saw the water tube going from the water pump housing to the copper line is cut at a angle, and the end of the plastic tube which goes around the copper upper tube is flared also. Should this be a snug fit between the plastic tube and the copper? Thanks in advance.
