What is the correct way or tool to secure the shift cable boot clamp,(the little round one) on an Alpha 1?
Thanks Roman

The best way is to toss that clamp in the trash and pick up a marine fuel line zip tie and use that.

Make sure its a fuel line zip tie....it has a curved radius unlike regular zip ties.
Any Johnson-Evinrude dealer sells them..

Some people use a small hose clamp to secure the squeeze on clamp then remove the hose clamp. I took an old pair of pliers and ground the necc radious into the jaws, works great.
