Never Use Ether!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never Use Ether!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER

Use ether, it has no lubrication for your motor, not even in small quantities.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER

Also WD-40 no longer uses a propellant that is explosive...

You seem to have a fuel delivery issue you need to resolve,

I promise you this, YOU WILL RUIN your motor, maybe not today, but YOU WILL RUIN IT, if you continue to use Ether to aid in starting.

I take a small squirt bottle and use my mixed gas, same as motor runs to squirt into carb, so much better for the motor.

I apologize for screaming in caps but this point needs made and now!

What tallcar said. You are not getting (sufficient) fuel delivery.

Rings have zero to do with it.

So I probably need to go thru my carb and filter and lines?

if you have not, change all fuel lines from tank to carbs, with alcohol resistant fuel lines. (ethanol in fuel now). clean and rebuild you carb. see THE TOP SECRET FILE. ( 1st thread in this forum) carb cleaning, carb adjustments. what tallcar said also.
