Hi. New to this forum. Own a couple of boats and having engine issues with one of them.
Looking for advice on the necessity of an overhaul of my 275HP Volva Penta duo-prop V6. 1990 model in a Carver 23' cruiser. Engine has about 500 hours of spot use. The engine has not been overhauled yet, is having some internal issues related to the block (timing, components, etc) and mechanic is pushing for an overhaul. I obviously dont agree. Any help is appreciated.
