Some one can help me to determine the year for a Johnson 50Hp SPL?

Hello,
I got an Johnson 50 Hp on engine cover is mark SPL, i don't have any model reference (the model plate is missing), on the engine i found an coin with serial number: Gxxxxxxx, is any possibility to determine model and year with this serial? Any suggestion?

that is serial # and not published, you need to contact a dealer, they can tell you.
