What Is My Boat Engine Year

It is a 15 hp the decal is gone that had serial # and model # I think it is a late 80s to mid 90s model I have no idea please help I read that some guys have had luck on finding info with freeze plug in engine so here it is it is an evinrude 15 hp it is dark blue with red and white pin stripes around the cover with name in between the 4 pin stripes and a 15 decal on the back and on lower unit it has 2 white and 1 red pin stripe running around just above first fin the numbers on expansion plug read G3289785 IT is tiller control, recoil start has forward and reverse switch or lever please help any info greatly appreciated I am not very knowledgeable on outboards if it don't have a car or truck engine in it I am no good to anyone thanks in advance for everything

the # is the serial #, they are not public, you need to contact an Evinrude dealer.
