My 13.5 I/C B&S in my mower was lacking power. It ran fine at high idle and slight load but would not survive even the slightest lug.... it would die right out in the cut.
After much tuning and tinkering
I watched this video

and adjusted the valves.
It's like a new machine!
They didn't seem that far out, but what a difference.
I'm going to do them every year now like the guy says.
What did we do before youtube?
I wonder how many lawnmowers get pushed to the curb when they just need valves set...
