I just purchased a 1984 Glasstream 17' bass boat with a 115 Mercury Inline 6. The motor wiring harness looks to be in good shape but the accessories wiring is completely shot. I am looking to strip out all existing wire and replace it. The person who owned the boat before me did all of the wiring himself and used all green wires for EVERYTHING....the wiring is completely corroded and breaking off so I am not sure where everything goes. Here are the items I need to get connected

Fuel Gauge
Tachometer
Speedometer
Voltage Gauge
Livewell
Bilge Pump
Lights
Trolling Motor Plug
Cigarette Lighter Type Plug

Can anyone advise me or provide suggestions on what the best way to go about this is and what I need to do to DO IT RIGHT!

You need to head to the library and read any book dealing with low voltage wiring. If you go to Electrics forum you can find a sticky at the very top of the forum titled "Generic Boat Wiring". It will help you with the console wiring.
