it takes 2 people, easiest way is to remove the carbs & starter, so you can get to the shift rod connection, then just remove the bolts and drop the lower. disconnect shift cable make connecting easier. hardest part is getting the linkage reconnected. while you have the carbs off is a good time to clean and install a rebuild kit.
