For you owners of Chrysler 55, 60, and 65 HP engines with the 3.375 bore:
I just ordered a piston for a 1997 Mercury Force 75 Hp. To my surprise, I found that the piston is a direct replacement. All you need to do is drill the skirt ports that the Chrysler needs.
Personally, I have been looking for a long time to retrofit my 140 to the longer rods that these pistons use. With the longer rods, there is less piston side thrust and less piston slap. Net: a small increment increase in power.
Of course, the rod big end is larger so I will need to find larger diameter rollers-- But I don't think that will be a problem.
