Ok, I see a lot about "...gotta have a pontoon prop". I'm good with that, but try to find a place that sells them! Been cruising the web for hours and have yet to see one for sale. Everything I find is three blade, standard stuff.
Any suggestions?
there is nothing called a "toon prop" you have to get the proper prop for your motor and boat. the idea is you want your motor to turn at the proper rpms, when it is at wide open throttle. the diameter of the prop, and pitch of the vanes is what determines this.
you have to have a tachometer of some type to get your boat and motor set up properly.
we all need to support iboats marine store when ever possible. you get, competitive prices. fast shipping, top notch customer service. also it provides us, this great FREE forum.
If you let us know what size boat and what motor you have, along with how much furniture (weight) and other stuff you normally have on board, there are some seasoned toon captains on the forum that can suggest what prop to source. What area your in will help as well.
