E/Fisherman I.d. for me? Thanks!

The id plate is gone. Motor was my fathers.
E Fisherman, I think 6hp. Wanting to know for sure and the year approx.
The round plate on the powerhead is stamped 131 RPH
I put photos at:

Also - it has a shaft extension(?) above the lower unit.
Is it possible to remove this and convert to a short shaft?
It looks like it is easy to remove,maybe originally was a long shaft kit.
Would I have parts to buy other than gasket and lube?

Looks like a model from a round late 60s early 70s

You could shorten it but you would need the to shorten the water tube, fit the standard length shift rod and the standard drive shaft. A drive shaft looks like about $270

don't see a shift lever though. Looks more like a 5hp In which case drive shaft only about $80

You have a 1971 six horsepower. Model 6102 if it is a short shaft, 6103 if long shaft (as it came from the factory--it could have been kitted). RPH stands for Replacement Powerhead. It isn't the original. The model & serial tag is supposed to be on the port stern bracket.
