out drive in mud

I have a 2000 searay with a 5.7 efi mercruiser with a bravo 2 outdrive. at low tide my out drive sits in the muck-is it better to let it sit in the muck or better to keep drive up? Thanks cool it

Keep the drive up and out of the mud.

Trim it up and out of the mud or you will damage things when it gets wavy

thanks-will I be fine keeping it up in the cold weather and also will I have any problem from the bellows always stretched from the drive up? Thanks

Is it in the water in cold weather(below freezing)? Hope not. If it is in storage on a trailer or on a hoist then store it with drive down to save the bellows

Run the outdrive up all the way and give it two bums down so bellows isnt stretch as far. Then just keep an eye on you bellows during your maintenence
