my Mercury 55 HP from '92? does not run smoothly.
It starts perfect, runs good on low revs until I open the throttle. After a few times opening and closing the throttle it will run better, bur I want it to run smooth on all revs.
We have changed the spark plugs, carburator valves and we cleaned the fuel pump.
Especially the latter seemed to help. It may be that the engine is starving for fuel, only sometimes the motor runs on really high revs.
Does anyone have a solution
