force prop

I have a couple of questions I have a 1984-1986 force 125 It came with 2 props 1 prop has vents around the shaft to pesumably let water in to the water pump the other prop does not Does the water pump draw water in through the prop? can I use the prop that is solid ?
next question the motor wants to kill when I shift into gear the idle seems ok is there a cluch adjustment?

Some models have exhaust that goes through the prop, others have the exhaust that comes out a snout behind the prop.

On an engine that DOES NOT exhaust through the prop, you can use either of the propellers. On engines that DO exhaust through the prop, you must use the open propeller.

Look at the back of the cavitation plate. If you have a snout, it will be open in the middle for exhaust to come out. If you have a solid trim tab, it will be thin and have no hole for the exhaust and the lower will have holes around the prop shaft for exhaust to exit.
