The only problem I saw with this contest is that the motor has computers.
When I win I wonder if I could talk them into trading for a NOS precomputer motor

Yeah,,, I read the fine print after posting...

Basically as I read it, you can choose any outboard up to 300HP :D. But here's the catch :rolleyes: you have to take delivery within a few weeks of winning, it has to be installed by a Evinrude dealer, it has to be warranty registered by the winner, they do not pay for taxes, installation, rigging, etc.

So, if you want the $24K 300HP outboard, you need to own an outboard boat rated to 300HP, able to schedule the install within a few weeks of winning and able to pay the (??? $3-5,000) bill for rigging and taxes.

I guess thats how they get away from people asking for the 300hp to sell and buy a new 16 foot bass boat...haha

no 40HP short shaft?? I guess Ill have to make due with a 25HP then....
