Hi, I have a 1998 200hp Salt Water Series 2 stroke, and want to install Pro Series II white-faced gauges on the boat.
I have been told that the Pro Series II tilt/trim gauge won't work, as it has a different number of wires...
Does anybody know of a harness adapter or work-around for this? I would go to great lengths to be able to use the full set of these gauges (long story).
The Yamaha website indicates that this gauge will work with any motor with ptt... any help/insight would be really appreciated!
(I will disclaim here that I have inquired on another Yamaha forum - I mean no disrespect to those who replied there, I am just really stumped, and want to know if anyone has a possible solution... )
