02' 150 Johnson idle trouble

Hi all,
Motor starts fine and idles at about 1500rpm for 15-20sec; sneeze's a few times then eventually stalls. The same thing happens every time! I have eliminated contaminated fuel as a prob by attaching a portable tank with fresh gas. I noticed that when I turn the manual primer about halfway up it keeps the engine running but still runs rough. Im guessing that the engine is bein starved of fuel but just like everything else, it's just a guess...Any ideas would be a big help

well how long has it set, last time it was running good, ect. need a little more info.

I have been having this problem since last year. Mechenics had it for months and could never get it to idle right. They claim that they sonic cleaned the carbs like 4 times... It seems to me that they focused on the carbs alone but who knows.
