Ok i have a 40 hp The motor needs to be raised Flush with the transom top.
As of now the transom has a u shape cut out of it. The stearing is pully type. Would raising the motor affect the stearing?
I have a 50 hp short shaft id like to use but it has Push pull steering. Id like to use the 50 how could i hook up the steering braket to it ?? ( the pully )
The motor has 2 threded bolt holes. For mounting places. Looks like a handle 6 " long under the hood.
Any ideas?? Ill post pics after work.
