My 75hp Merc. outboard uses a BUHW-2 NGK spark plug. Does anyone know what the cross refrence to a champion plug would be, or is this even recommended. Thanks
BUHW-2 crosses over to Champion L78V and there should be no difference, but generally it's thought that the later motors "like" the NGK's better. I wouldn't hesitate to use the Champ's in a pinch though, if that's all you could get.
