tail light lens compatibility discovery

On my recently purchased pontoon boat and trailer, I had a broken tail light lens on the Wesbar brand tail light. These are the long rectangular lights, not the square ones.

I purchased a replacement Optronics light assembly at Cabela's and although I was ready to replace the entire assembly, I found the Optronics lens fit the Wesbar assembly perfectly.

I guess I lucked out but wanted to pass on this info.

Cool, alot of them seem exactly alike. Probably all made at the same dump in china. :rolleyes:
