hi, i have a 89 140hp seadrive. i had water in my lower unit so i decided to reseal the lower unit. one of the bolts that held the bearing housing on was broke off. after i removed the cover and broken bolt, i replaced the seals. when i slide the housing down over the driveshaft, the spring on the lower seal keeps popping off when the seal slides over the larger part of the shaft. any ideas how to keep it on. i'm afraid if i leave it off the seal may leak.
