Default 86 Bayliner Capri bowrider fixer upper

I picked up an 86' Bayliner Capri 18' bowrider with a 125hp Force outboard.
It needs plenty of work but I am especially confused on all the wires on the right side of the boat when there is a strap for a battery on the left side.
Is there a junction box I'm missing? It looks like the biggest wires, probably for the starter will reach over to the left side but the mess of other wires won't. I have the wiring diagram and can eventually figure out what wires go where but I would love some help. Does any one have a picture of your boat and how this is supposed to look?

A quick question. Do you have a MBSS installed? If so, then there's a pretty good chance that the boat had two batteries in it.
It really is hard to try and decipher some one else's previous work. I'm just shooting in the dark.
Also, a lot of times the battery will be on the port side to offset the weight of only having one person - the operator -onboard.
Welcome to iboats.

I'm not sure what MBSS is but if it had 2 batteries wouldn't the wiring diagram in the manual show it?
Thanks for the response

Hi all
I just got a 1985 Bayliner Capri bowrider
Seems like the floor and stingers are bad,,but i guess the good news is that the volvo engine is still good, tags says its a volvo AQ125B, runs good and strong, however I did not that the trim motor was bad,
I started cutting the floor out, and diging the foam out( man, for me thats a job and ahalf.
can some one tel me what and how i should do this, and what order
1. how many gallons of foam do i need
2. how much glass
3 do i use mat or colth
4. can i use 2x4's for the stringer
5. do i use polyester resin or epoxy.

Also I an new to this sorry if i sound like a nut case
