Seat replacement project

I am in the process of purchasing a 1983 Imperial V180 18' open bow that needs some tlc and minor repairs. The floor seems to be solid still in it but all the seats are starting to rot. How hard is it to replace seats and any suggestions on what brand or type of seat to use?

Seating is an easy install. If you get standard back to back seating you can rebuild the bases easy, seal and enev cover with vinyl of you like.

Pedestal seats are a bit trickier and require more work.

If your going to hire the work done.Replacement seats are about as cheap.Most new have plastic backs.No more rot.
