Default Buying new boat in FL

Hello everyone. I'm Gus. Been lurking around for a while. Very informative forum.
Before I created this post I was hoping to find the answer in some archived posts but I think I have more questions than answers I was able to find.

I live in FL and I'm looking to buy my first cruiser boat. I'm looking for a pretty decent size boat, between 24-32'. I am planning to use the boat 1-2 times a week. Would love to cruise around and sleep in the boat with wife occasionally. The boat should house at least 4 people over night.

I'm leaning for something around the entry level luxury line (compared to a car: bmw, audi, lexus type of feel)

I am not planning to tow the boat and would like to leave it at a marina on the water. I've learned that Inboard engines are better for this purpose but inboard engine boats seem to be more expensive.
Could I consider an outboard boat for this purpose?

I want the boat to have generator, AC, gps, radio to begin with.

I had the chance to see a few Sea Ray boats and I really liked the comfort and look, but again all I'm able to digest is just that "looks" because I'm new to the industry.

I would love to be between the 40- 85k range. I want to finance also.
With this said I would appreciate any tip/ advice to get the most out of my buck, specially brands.

I was almost ready to jump to a searay 290 amberjack '06 with 240 hrs. in great cosmetic condition but thought I should wait and hear from the folks that know more than I do. Next week a buddy of mine that owned several boats is going to browse around with me.

Sincerely.
Gus.

Take a look at the Hydra-Sports VX model.

Very nice boat.

I took a look at hydra but they are more suitable for fishing.
I am def buying a used boat between 06-08.

I really like the sundanc 310 line but I would prefer to go with another brand that is not going to cost me an arm an a leg for similar features.
Any suggestions?

Gus
