well i took on the task of painting my boat ......almost done with the white ....then im moving on with the blue highlights..........

Good looking ride what type paint did you use?Auto or marine.

i rolled the bottom with a smooth sponge roller ......and sprayed the sides and top with a binks spray gun

Looks great , wish mine was that far !!!! I just got my frist coat of white on , then rain came so waiting on weather here !! keep the pics gomming !! nice work John

Very nice and I agree, did mine this winter it was a bit of a pain, especially the part that is upside down, well worth it though.

Being one that can't leave well enough alone I wet sanded(2000 grit) and buffed the entire boat too.

I actually enjoy painting, it is the getting ready to paint that is the pain, I am working in a body shop part time and have spent the last 3 days rubbing bondo and primer on a Toyota.

I got the first scratch out of the way within the first 5 minutes it was in the water so at least I got that over with.

Here is mine before and after.

Keep up the good work.

Nice Job, The nice part is when your done you can really see all that was accomplished, then maybe painting another boat won't seem so bad, especially after you get the envious looks at the dock.:cool:

That thing has some bad bad clasic lines your going to have a shap boat on your hands

Looks great! The blue accents really look great.

5150abf...... is that sanding dust all over your yard :eek: At my house here in VT that "dust" is finally leaving but I still see piles on the northern slopes :D
