well i took on the task of painting my boat ......almost done with the white ....then im moving on with the blue highlights..........

i rolled the bottom with a smooth sponge roller ......and sprayed the sides and top with a binks spray gun

Very nice and I agree, did mine this winter it was a bit of a pain, especially the part that is upside down, well worth it though.

Being one that can't leave well enough alone I wet sanded(2000 grit) and buffed the entire boat too.

I actually enjoy painting, it is the getting ready to paint that is the pain, I am working in a body shop part time and have spent the last 3 days rubbing bondo and primer on a Toyota.

I got the first scratch out of the way within the first 5 minutes it was in the water so at least I got that over with.

Here is mine before and after.

Nice Job, The nice part is when your done you can really see all that was accomplished, then maybe painting another boat won't seem so bad, especially after you get the envious looks at the dock.

5150abf...... is that sanding dust all over your yard

At my house here in VT that "dust" is finally leaving but I still see piles on the northern slopes
