I need help what some wires in the electric cable from outboard to control box. There is a gray connected from the stator though rectifier through control to connector for instrument panel. What is this wire for?
Has any a good idea on, how to test that the outboard actually is charging the battery. Its possible to measure the restistance in stator, measure the diodes in rectifier - but all wire has to be disconnected first. But actually measure the charging voltage. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
