Cobalt 262 vs. 250 Please Help me Choose.

Hello Boaters,
i am looking to buy a used Cobalt (2004-2006) and am having a hard time deciding between a 262 or a 250. both are gonna have what i like, 496, over 25 feet, and walk thru stern. Can someone elighten me on what else is differant?
and another topic... if both are same year, condition, hours, etc and were the same money, which one would be the better buy? (aka which one was more valuable when new, which one is more in demand right now?)

The 262 is a much better boat(ride, handling and interior). When they were both in production, this list price for the 262 was $13,000 higher then 250. Also, the extended swim platform was optional on the 262 and standard on the 250.

The 262 also has a much better ride in rough water over the 250. The 262 also hold it's resell value better.
