Stator and rectifier mercury 20 hp

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if is the good place to post my topic. Ok, i have a mercury Merc 200 20 hp in the 70's i guest. I will like to know there a way to use the stator for the accesories in the boat? For the recents motors i know the use a rectifier to do so, like charching the battery.

Some yes and some no, start with a serial number.

The serial number for this motor is: #4375525

Yes, at one time the parts to convert it were available but are not today inless you found a donor engine. Your stator will not charge a battery but this could be added on,here's a link.
