I have a 2000 fitch 150. I have indexed the plugs, changed filters. The engine is very hard starting. I have to give it full throttle and it runs. Of course, when I throttle back it stalls. I have to do this about 6-7 times. Once it runs, its good all day. I would appreciate any suggestions,Joe

I had the same exact engine( 2000 -150), new in 2001. By end of 2002, after 12 trips back to dealer, he bought it back from me and put on a new 2003 Evinrude 150. There was a world of difference in the two engines. It appears that Bombardier figured it out. It's my understanding that Bomb built them starting with 2001 model year.
