Spring temp's and starting outboards

Temperatures here at night hover around upper 20's and low 30's.Just wonder how concerned i should be about getting motor started and checked out so i can get on the water.89 Johnson 110,boat is outside overnight now.There are a number of guys out on the water now ,so just wonder again about overnnight temps and what to do or not be concerned....

Just keep the motor down when not using it so all the water drains out. In the cold , it'll just take longer to get up to temp and be snotty getting there.

I use my OB in all kinds of low temps down to -9 last winter. I don't do anything different except for as already stated, just keep it in the down positon until the water drains out.
