have 84' 120 2.5 merc i/o, rebuilt motor 3yrs ago, will out spin rpm's to spec \
3800-4300 only to 3200. also have lack of power. idles great and other wise runs fine. timing, dwell, compression, fuel and ignition all ok. exhaust clear.
all to spec. prop is 19 pitch. any ideas as to what may cause issue. racking my brain. need some help!!!!!!!!!
