OK so everyone helped me set up my 2 12v batteries into a 24v setup.:)

But as I was hooking everything back up I found a new dilemma.

I have a onboard charging system that came original on the boat -- 2 red and 2 blacks leads that were used to charge the 2 batts in the old 12v system.

I now have a 24v TM and have setup the 2 batteries in a 24v setup.

My question is Do I hook up the 2 reds and 2 blacks to each battery and overnight charge --- or Do I connect the red to batt 1 and the black to batt 2 and charge the whole system similiar to how it outputs the voltage.

I didnt want to blow something up --so better to ask before I proceed;)

Check out my reply to your other thread about wiring 24V to the TM.

You connect the outputs to each battery just as you did in a parallel system. Grounds on these chargers are isolated from each other so the series battery connection presents no problems.
