im supposed to go and help a buddy replace the water pump on a suzuki tomorrow. im a johnson evinrude guy and i canot for the life of me find in the manual on how to drop the lower unit. im well aware of the shift rod and that it needs to be disconected befor removal. there is no sectino in this damn book that says anything on removing the lower unti. when you read on how to replace the impeller the first step is to remove the lower unit(without telling you how) it says the same thing when you look up how to dissasemble the lower unit. any sugestions?
