Re: Force l-drive

Nothing else will connect with an L - drive, the best bet is to find another one (or two) to rob parts with. Certain parts of the drive can be sourced from Force outboards, but the actual unique midsection is a bit of an orphan.

The actual misection is fine, i'm talking about the lower unit. The skeg is broken off on mine and its broke up to high to put a replacement on it. So basicly i'm looking for the housing. But thanks for the reply :)

If its just the lower unit, I think a regular Force outboard lower unit will fit and work. Don't quote me on that, but to my recollection thats the case. You would have to get a lower unit from the same era/series of motor tho' including the water pump/intake system.
