I know someone who's parents won $10 million in the lottery a few years ago. They bought $200 worth of Powerball tickets. :D <br /><br />They were talking about it on the news last night and someone buying a ticket made a good point - "If you were meant to win you only need to buy 1 ticket". ;)

We've been pooling together at work and buying about $75 worth at a time. So far not much luck.<br /><br />Ahh... would it be sweet to win.<br /><br />But the way I figure it... You have to be elderly, no Dependants, and on some sort of life support to win. None of which I'm even close to :) <br /><br /><br />H.

I spend about $5 a year on lottery.<br /><br />....why do I buy when it gets this high, cause ya just gotta!<br /><br />would only 1 mil change my life? yup.<br />heck, 50 bucks would change my life right now, but that's the way it goes.<br /><br />Last time I was at the casino, I won $750 at blackjack, I'm never going back, I'm up.

I'm with Noel.. about $5 a year, if that much...<br /><br />The odds of getting struck by lightning twice in the same day are better than the odds at winning lotto..<br /><br />How much $ does a feller really need?.... <br /><br />I guess if I won such a thing, I'd probably expand my biz or start a new company, and find some good folks too put to work... Pay my employees, well... :)

I buy tickets on occasion and haven't had much luck. The way I see it for the few bucks I spend I get to dream of winning because there is a chance... without a ticket... there's no chance. :)

I am in a pool at work where I invest about $2 a week.<br /><br />My theory is if they ever do win it, I would rather be walking out with them than dealing with what to do now since they are all gone.

I'm in tears here...just said on the news someone in Oregon matched all 6 numbers for $340 million. 1 guy. 4 more won $810,000. In Oregon.<br /><br />Earlier today I decided not to waste the dollar. In Oregon.<br /><br />Oh well...I've already got a bad heart, it probably would have killed me. :rolleyes:

I just talked to my uncle on the phone. He lives close to the town where the ticket was sold. He bought 2 tickets at the store where they think the big ticket was sold!!!<br /><br />7.5 million per year. Your only job is to spend it. :eek:
