1991 60hp johnson shuts off after putting in gear

Just had carburators cleaned 2 months ago, new plugs. Idles fine with warm start. When put into gear to accelerate engine shuts off. Any ideas? Thanks

check your compression and spark on all 3 cylinders. also carbs can pick up trash anytime and cause problems. have you replace your fuel lines with alcohol resistant lines? ethanol, deteriorates the rubber lines, and the lines sluff out, clogging high speed jets.

replaced fuel lines also. Should I spray carburator cleaner in carburator while putting in gear? Thanks
