I am thinking on buying a new boat , Center Console 29-31,
how would you rate Cobia, Pro- Line and Pursuit or what would you like?

I would look at the Cobia or the Pursuit, Pro-line not so much, they're out of business and had issues even before then with their workmanship. I owned a Cobia, I was pretty happy with it.

Are you importing the boat yourself or have you found a dealership down here?

Do not know yet. Are you a local dealer?

My friend has a 2470 Pursuit. Very nice boat and it rides almost as good as my 26 Century. I like the quality and build of Pursuit boats. Cobia's are nice too.

Just curious, since there are not many brands represented here.

I for sure know that you can order Glastron, Triumph and Four Winns boats ordering them from the dealer Centrogar.
Marinsa can import for you any boat made by a Mercury partner.
Boston Whalers could be ordered from La Naval; but that was before they closed operations.

On the other hand, my inlaw imported back in 1991 a Four Winns 21' center console with twin 70 HP Johnsons...it was a real pain.

Things have changed, and for sure customs paperwork must be different now, but ordering from a dealer is the most comfortable way to go IMO.

Both boats you mention have a great reputation, so I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Cheers!

PD: It's nice to know of a fellow Salvadorean boater here @ IBoats
