Quicksilver control box

I have a 93 procraft 180sp that I suspect the control box is wore out. Will not click when put in forward. I am looking for a box on ebay and wondering which controls will work and which ones won't. I have an 82 blackmax 200 on the back. My kill switch is seperate from the box. The only wires in my box are yellow and red and the wires to the trim switch. Any suggestions?

Any Quicksilver or most aftermarket are adaptable thats 1979 or newer as long as it's the same style as yours, meaning binnacle. side panel face mount or side panel concealed mount

Bought controls on ebay. I have a seperate kill switch on my boat. Should I rewire and use the kill switch in the box?
