HELP! lower unit installation

hey everyone I just replaced my impeller on my merc 110 9.8
Im having a really hard time getting the lower unit back in,I took it off in neutral and cant get it in for nothing. I cant afford one of those factory manuals right now so does anyone know how I can get it back in? I almost had it but I didnt want to force it in. its getting to a point where its ticking me off a littlebit:D

that makes 2 of us. You need to leave the motor in gear, and then you can spin the prop to line the gears up when you push it back in. i am not sure about your, but with mine there is a gear in front of the main drive shaft, small little gear, i had to turn it counter clockwise, and put the boat in reverse. then turning the prop will turn the shaft while you slide it back up, worked for me, your might be different. once you get it back on, check all the gears 3-4 times before firing it up. but im not pro, someone else may have a better idea.
