Just bought an 86 Mariner 150 HP and after trimming the motor up in just a matter of moments, the tilt unit won't hold the motor up and it lowers. Any one have any suggestions as to what to check.
Clockwise is locked, counter clockwise is unlocked.....
While trailering it should be turned all the way counter clock wise.
in the water is should be turned all the way clockwise.
