Hey guys how do you change the impeller on a 2000 60hp. Yamaha.I see the 4 bolts were it seperates but is there a shift rod that you have to disconnect?Thanx.I can do my O.M.C
i think the lower unit will just separate once you remove the bolts. there is a bolt underneath the trib tab zinc, so you have to remove the zinc and then the bolt underneath.
the gear linkage will slide off a collar when you separate. when putting it back together, on that last inch, line up the linkage and slide together.
140 4 stroke , 2003, engine stalls at slow speed. often will be hard to re start. i have changed the idle control valve .. help if you can. thanks, don
