ok, was reading the FAQ here:
http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=222677
its mainly about rerouting the peehole to the top of the block to keep air out of the water jackets...which makes sense. I will do that at a later date.
anyway, this is approximately what my outlet looks like now (taken from pic in that thread):
question #1
which would be the BETTER...not easier...BETTER way to tap for the water pressure gauge.
1. cut pee hole hose and put in a T fitting
2. pull out block tap and replace with a T-fitting at block
question #2
engine is a 1988 mercury M90 2-stroke 3cylinder engine
what would my approximately idle psi and full throttle psi be?? I want to make sure I get the right gauge since there are 0-15psi and 0-30psi gauges. if I'm only making 3psi at idle then obviously it would show up better on the lower pressure gauge versus the higher pressure gauge.
