150HP Mercury BlackMax 1989 - Fuel Gauge stuck on Empty
Hi Folks!
I have a 150 Mercury 1989 BlackMax 2cyc oil injected outboard. My fuel guage is stuck on Empty, but I know it's full cause I filled it with gas!
What can it be? Fuel float, guage, I dont know. Please advise with your experience. Thanks in advancefor your help

Check for power at the purple wire on the guage. If you have power, then unhook wire from gas tank sending unit and touch it to ground If quage responds, then it probably is the sending unit/float. If no response, apply 12 volts to the pole on guage marked snd. If no response then it probably is the guage. Also try to inspect wires connectingguage and sending unit.
Hope this helps.

You aren't going to get much attention hijacking someone else's thread, Toxarch.
I suggest that you make your own thread.
