If the magnets are off of the inside of the flywheel what would this cause? I pulled my flywheel off of the motor I just picked up and the magnets fell out of it. It was running when I first seen the motor. Sorry I am not familiar with boat motors. Thanks in advance Jayme

Someone hammering on the flywheel for unknown reasons (probably trying to get it off). They are cemented in so they may have just come loose. Severe overheat perhaps.

Would this cause the motor to run poorly or just not charge?

I am just trying to find out why it run good one minute and then it fely like it was only running on one cyl. I did a lake test and it ran great for a minute then bogged down then ran good for a minute then bogged down again. Then when I took the motor off I noticed the pieces of the flywheel and over half of the magnets where gone off the flywheel. Would this cause it or do I need to look for something else.
