hi, we have a 87 19' searay seville with omc cobra outdrive and a 4.3 liter motor that says vortech on the valve covers. how do I find out what this motor is for sure? I was wondering what year of motor block I can use to swap out? I realize I have to switch out the cam,lifters,manifolds and etc. but do I use the same harmonic balancer off the origonal motor? allso can I just pull the motor and switch them out, or do I have to remove the outdrive before I can swap the motors? I have searched the site and found similar articles but cant find anything on these paticular details. any info would be so appriciated.
