I am looking at a used boat with a 1997 200 Vindicator. Any history? Does this fall into the time frame when there were a lot of problems? What should I look for? Is it a 60 degree or 90 degree motor? Carb or EFI? What should I expect for fuel consumption? I have had Merc's and Yamaha 150 V-6's. I am looking for a dependable non tempermental engine for bass fishing, not as concerned about speed as I am useability.
