I've got a Honda BF8A serial #BACE 1207133 that needs a replacement recoil starter. The only part I have been able to find is this one ...http://www.boats.net/parts/detail/honda/H-28400-881-016.html which lists it as the BACS-120001 series. I cant find anything that references a BACE model anywhere so I am unsure if this replacement starter will work for my motor. I am fairly confident that it will but I want to make sure before I blow $120 on it. I am open to other parts places as well if anyone knows where I can get a cheaper one, I am fixing this boat up so I can sell it, money is a little tight right now so any help is greatly appreciated.
