1970 85hp evinrude lower unit leak

My lower unit is leaking oil around the prop. Mechanic said I need to change seals and impeller. Costing me about 100$. I have a manual and could probably do it myself, but I dont know what seals he is talking about. Looks like there are a lot of seals.

if you can get it done for $100 total including parts go for it. or even $100 plus parts.

I ended up doing the work myself. I priced the seal kit at the boat shop at 62 dollars. The local mechanic told me to take the old seals to the local bearing and seal shop and buy new ones. I got all of the seals and the o-rings for 18 dollars. The impellar had to be ordered. it took two tries to get the right one. Unfortuneately the boat shop used the guesstimate method when cross referencing parts. It took three trips to their shop and an entire week to get the right part.
